Here’s the honest version of how I got here.
In 2012, I lost my daughter Azlynn in a car accident. That’s where the story really starts — not because tragedy is the brand, but because nothing that came after makes sense without it.
The decade that followed was nonlinear. A divorce I didn’t see coming. Years as a single dad to two kids who needed me to figure it out faster than I was. Pool cleaning. Real estate. Insurance. Flipping houses. I tried everything that felt responsible and safe, and none of it worked.
From 2016 to 2019, nothing stuck — and I had two kids watching. That’s the kind of pressure that either breaks you or forces you to get honest about what you’re actually capable of. I chose the second option, eventually.
In 2019, I met Brad, the founder of a marketing agency in Keller, Texas, who gave me a hand up at the right moment. He didn’t have to. That conversation changed everything.
In January 2020, I launched Stormbreaker Digital. What started as a LinkedIn growth agency became something I couldn’t have predicted: an AI agent systems company. Then I became something I also couldn’t have predicted: a full-stack developer. Eight ventures later, I’m still building — and the pace keeps accelerating.
Before the AI stack, there was seven years of doing the work manually. That’s the foundation everything else runs on.
Defense contractors. Real estate private equity. SaaS. Healthcare. Air freight. Manufacturing. Workforce development. Professional sports. Every vertical, every deal size, every ICP challenge you can imagine.
I ran the outbound. Wrote the sequences. Built the lists. Iterated on copy until it got replies. That experience is what makes the AI systems worth building — you can’t automate a motion you don’t understand.
The book covers my BCT Method (Brand, Content, Traffic), the LinkedIn Power Score™, and the frameworks I’ve used to build pipeline for hundreds of clients. Named methodologies from real campaigns, not theory.
The Delightful Outbound Approach. The Scalable Trust Method. The Voice Extraction Method. The BCT Method. LinkedIn Power Score™. All developed from real campaigns across real clients.
Seven years in the trenches before any of the AI systems existed. That’s the foundation. The stack is downstream of the judgment.
I’m a Claude power user in a way that goes beyond knowing the interface. Claude Code to build production apps. Claude Projects to maintain context and knowledge bases across every venture. Custom Connectors — I’ve built my own. AI Skills were part of the original inspiration behind Skill Refinery: the idea that expert knowledge could be packaged, structured, and delivered through AI natively.
Cursor is where code gets written. Replit is where it gets deployed — dozens of live sites, blogs, PWAs, Zoom apps, and mobile apps running right now. I went from marketer to full-stack developer without a CS degree or a dev team. I didn’t plan for that transformation. It happened because the tools got good enough and I moved fast enough.
OpenClaw ties it all together — the open-source middleware connecting Claude, MCP, APIs, and every external tool into autonomous agent systems that run on schedules without me in the room.
The stack is large and keeps growing. What I’ve listed publicly is a small slice of what’s actually in use. The tools that matter aren’t the ones on the list. They’re the ones I know how to combine in the right order for the right problem.
“What makes the combination unusual: I see software with a business owner’s eyes and GTM with a builder’s eyes. Most people are one or the other. The entrepreneur who’s also a developer who’s also spent seven years doing real outbound sees things that none of those roles can see alone — which features move revenue, which automations create leverage, which campaigns will get replies before the first one sends.”
AI agent systems applied to a real problem in a real market — each one built faster than the last.
I live in Texas with my family. My faith is the bedrock — not a brand pillar, not a content category. It’s the reason I keep coming back to the word “build” when everything else could have knocked me flat.
I’ve spoken on stages and emceed conferences with thousands of attendees. Brokered deals in Dubai and Mexico City. Built a network of 70K+ LinkedIn connections that has been the engine behind most of what I’ve built.
I’m a co-author of a parliamentary procedure standard used by 23 million North American organizations. I’ve had clients in professional sports — including the New Jersey Devils.
And I named a children’s home after Azlynn, which is the thing I’m most proud of.
I believe I was put here to make things. The ventures are the expression of that.
